CAL’s January 1st 2017 Show
The 2017 CAL Annual January 1st Show was bigger and better and was aired live as usual on the 1st day of January, however our host Ms. Iyanda was indisposed, but was ably represented by Nollyhood TV Star, Ms. Bimbo Akintola and a host of different panelist across Nigeria, (Omojuwa Japheth, Ayo Sogunro, Femi Longe, Jola Ayeye and Osagie Alonge) to take a critical look at the National issues bothering Nigeria.

The show focused on Five (5) thematic areas of National issues happening in Nigeria, and they were broken down as follows: Power, Technology, Governance /Politics, Manufacturing and Entertainment. The discussions featured various stakeholders in the different industries who have impacted their industries and Nigeria in various ways. Overall the show looked at the many problems of 2016, the solutions created in 2016, the standout of 2016 against all odds and a look into 2017 with bright hope.

CAL’s January 1st Show (Previous Years)
As a tradition since inception, the foundation airs the Annual CAL Live TV Special on the first day of every year. The Change-A-Life (CAL) TV Special is a live TV show broadcast on the 1st of January every year as a platform to highlight keen issues, celebrate philanthropic and corporate social responsibilities and encourage and promote the Nigerian youth as a viable and productive member of the society .The selected guests are featured for being a source of inspiration and encouragement to the young people who aspire to succeed in their various life endeavors. Siting Executive Governors of Lagos State have been the special guest on the show. Other guests include everyday Nigerians, some of our beneficiaries, and supporters of the Change-A-Life vision.

The show is designed to foster a sense of hope, encourage and highlight transformational leadership, showcase and reward ordinary Nigerians doing extra ordinary things and highlight our interventions for the past year. Over the years the show has hosted Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Former Governor of Lagos State, His Excellency Babatunde Raji Fashola (SAN), the first female chairman of First Bank Nigeria, Mrs Ibukun Awosika, Minister of Information and Culture: Alhaji Lai Muhammad etc..
