Change-A-Life (CAL) is a social service non-profit organization with the mission to act as a bridge between people with human, community and leadership potential yet great need and the individuals, agencies and organizations with the capacity and willingness to meet these people’s needs.

The organization’s mandate is to identify the needs of people in our communities and channel our resources towards fulfilling those needs. CAL’s primary focus is capacity building. Our program delivery is channeled through educational scholarships, business grants, young adult mentoring, adult and community education, women empowerment, and civic engagement.

HOLISTIC EDUCATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP

Primarily, with the continuous encouragement and support from the Lagos State Government, Change-A-Life provides scholarships to school-aged children from primary to postsecondary levels of education.

GAP YEAR INITIATIVE

The Change-A-Life Gap Year Program is a full time year of experiential learning, which combines computer education, one-on-one mentorship and workshops that are primarily academically inclined but some of the modules also incorporate vocational training.

YOUTH AND CIVIC ENGAGEMENT

The Change-A-Life Youth and Civic Engagement (CAL-YCE) program is envisioned as an initiative that awakens Nigerian youths’ consciousness towards their civic responsibilities, especially leading up to, during, and after elections in the country.
