Reduction of Cervical Cancer by providing screening for woman living in rural areas:

Change-A-Life in conjunction with our project partner: Dr. Abosede Afolabi, a consultant gynecologist and obstetrician works on this project. This initiative is based on the fact that most women in Nigeria do not have access to screening especially those in the rural areas. This initiative recognizes that not only will risk of cervical cancer be substantially reduced through screening, risks of many other reproductive tract problems, including HIV/AIDS, will also be reduced.

Women in communities especially Wasimi in Maryland Lagos have enjoyed the free cervical screening.

Women in Need (WIN):

This is a direct intervention project that seeks to assist battered women and those in dire situations Our aim is to ultimately enable beneficiaries to be self-sufficient as well as challenge them to in turn stretch out a hand to support a fellow human being. This involves our timely micro-finance intervention by supporting these women with capital to start a self-sufficient business thus; help their families.

Organizing "It's not about you":

This is a talk show series aimed at building a generation of young people (who possess) with a highly developed consciousness about the society and their responsibilities and obligation to the society.

"The Path To Career Success"; a seminar for the pupils of Army Junior and Senior Children Secondary School in conjunction with members of Risk Operational Management of Access Bank Plc is our most recent activity.

Proposed projects:

The Rape Crisis Centre (A Chain of Hope)

The Rape Crisis Centre aims at helping young rape victims overcome the psychological and traumatic effect of sexual exploitation, violence and abuse.

Our plan is to build a rape crisis centre that will provide succor and cater for rape victims. We are currently working with doctors, counselors and the office of the public defender in what we call "a chain of hope" to help young rape victims.

Our motivation comes from doing what is right, helping hardworking people who just need a hand - it is really about human dignity.
